SIZE
Buses are classified by body type/service (Urban, Intercity, and Long-Distance) or Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) and length: Midi (GVW of 10 to 15 metric tons and total length of 11.5 meters); medium-sized bus (PBT of 15 to 16 metric tons and 12.6 meters); and heavy-duty bus (PBT of 16 to 26 metric tons and up to 15 meters).
